What is Shadow?
Your shadow is you. It is the 'you' you don't know, that you don't want others to know. Your shadow is not bad, it's just hidden. And what we hide from ourselves, we project onto others, and then war with it in them. This is the cause of most of our personal and relational suffering.
The Men’s Shadow Work Program is a virtual 8 week transformational container for men, ready to face their hidden life – their fear, shame and guilt, and embody their light, love and divine masculine power.

Program Overview

Weekly 60-minute live Cohort Zoom Calls: Guided meditation and teaching + live coaching + discussion. Live sessions are recorded, in the event you aren't able to attend live

Personal Shadow Work Sessions: Two 60-minute one-on-one shadow work coaching sessions with Dr. Mike Simmons. These sessions help orient and clarify the shadow work you're here to do, and the outcome you’re focused on.

Shadow Work Circles: You'll be a part of "circle" or group that meets weekly (Zoom) to deepen each man's individual work. A guided yet flexible structure is provided.

Open Coaching Hours: 1 hour per week to drop-in to connect with Dr. Mike live via Zoom to ask questions and gain clarity

1:1 Coaching Add-On: For many, one-on-one support is where the most profound and fastest shifts take place. Coaching sessions are 60 minutes via zoom and can be purchased and scheduled at any point before or during the program.

Program Structure and Flow
The 8 weeks are organized into 4 phases, each building on the last.
Phase 1 — Shadow, Ego, Persona: Mapping Your Inner Landscape (Weeks 1-2)
What is actually happening in your hidden life? You’ll be introduced to the concepts of shadow, ego, and persona. We’ll clarify how shadow forms and why you may feel like two different versions of yourself. You’ll also begin identifying the core emotions shaping your inner world, building awareness of how feelings like anger, fear, and shame influence your reactions, decisions, and sense of self.
Phase 2 — Emotional & Relational Shadow (Weeks 3-4)
You'll explore how emotional defenses, unconscious wounds, and internalized beliefs shape your behavior and relationships. You’ll learn to recognize patterns that trigger reactivity, shutdown, or avoidance, and develop a simple tool for moving through emotional blocks with greater clarity and stability. This phase also focuses on projection, transference, and boundaries, helping you understand why certain people affect you so strongly and how to respond from a grounded place rather than habit.
Phase 3 — Intimacy, Body & Identity Shadow (Weeks 5-6)
Your body holds both shame and power. We’ll explore how self-image, body-based stories, and internalized shame shape confidence, desire, and intimacy. Rather than performing strength or withdrawing, you’ll develop a more honest and grounded relationship with your body. This phase also addresses inherited beliefs and collective ideals that may still be influencing your identity, supporting a clearer sense of inner authority and personal responsibility.
Phase 4 — Worth & Value: The Golden Shadow (Weeks 7-8)
You'll claim your inherent worth and value, clarify your direction, and create an action+focus plan for how to invest your energy more intentionally. This final phase centers on integration, helping ensure the shifts you experience become stable, practical, and sustainable. We’ll end our journey with a final blessing ceremony.
